Hey guys,

I bought my Polaris bout 2 yrs. ago. It was leaking coolant form a head stud. I figured it was just the gasket....yeah. I popped the head off and sure enough the gasket was bad. I replaced it along with the piston and rings. The problem still existed. Now I have discovered that the jug has a small crack by the stud threads in the coolant channel. All that said I am looking forward to getting this thing on the trails, I'm on the hunt for a used jug, I purchased one for a 96 but later found that it will not work.

You will need one from a 94 or 95 model. I have been able to repair a lot of those cylinders. If you can take some good pictures of the cylinder and send them to [email protected] I can tell if the cylinder is repairable or not. Good Luck!
