The motor has been overheated - causing the head gasket to blow - has been replaced, cranks right up and sounds fine at idle but...

I feel like it has a power issue like a bad spark plug or something in that neighborhood - when I drive it maybe 4/5 hundred yards i see coolant leaking from the side of the block at the water pump housing

this is a tiny hole (meant to be there) just below the coolant inlet tube at the waterpump housing - is this a drain tube that is missing? - is it a bad waterpump seal, gasket? - if the seal, gasket is leaking would this be my power issue too?

i was wondering how hard it was to replace ethe water pump if you did it yourself... cause i believe i have compression leaking into the coolant and i know for a fact that its not the head gasket.
