I just bought a 98 Magnum 4X4 and the none of the lights are working ie reverse neutral and im not sure if there is a light on the awd button. The head lights and brake light is not working ether. Also I found out today that the 4x4 isnt working and I have no idea where to start thanks for the help.

You have got to have a hot battery on it. If it was ever ran without the battery it blew all of the bulbs. The battery is a 14AA2. That is more than likely what is going on.

The guy I bought it from said that he had just put a new battery in it. I ask him why none of the lights were working and he said that the battery had gone dead and blew them all. I havent been worried about the lights but relized the 4x4 wasnt working. Thats my main concern.

Check for continuity in all of the wiring for the 4x4, the wiring that runs to the front and the switch. I found several breaks in mine as the wires that run to the front had breaks in them from getting snagged on debris.

I do believe that there is a light bulb in the switch, but mine is out too. I doesn't effect the operation of 4x4 in mine, although it does draw power from the hot lead that runs up the wiring to the 4x4 switch. Now the other lights, I don't see why it would...I might be wrong:dunno:
