Well i was just going over my bike, and i gave all the cv axles a tug, and noticed that i could lift the left rear axle up and down,"wobble it" is this the axle, bearing, or are the splines worn out in the main diff gear, i would really like to not break into the tranny, that looks like it would be a pain, any info

I can't pull it in or out, so the pin it still holding, it's not slipping, so i hope it's just the axle?

Is the axle cup moving in the diff or the axle shaft is moving in the cup?

looks like the axle is moving in the diff, i haven't pulled the axle yet, but i have heard of the splines going bad? It could be a bearing. the whole boot and everything move some, not a lot.

Some slight "wiggle" back there i wouldnt worry about, once theres torque on it its not gonna do that.

Now if its flopping around like a limp weiner in a windstorm you got issues
