I'm new to the board and need HELP! My 99 Sportsman 500 sat for six months with a bad starter. Just replaced it and decided to do a light tune-up including new plug, fuel filter and air filter - even changed the oil. Also emptied the old gas and replaced with new with Sea Foam in it. Got it started, but it idles rough and sputters and pops and bogs down when I give it throttle. Tried using carb cleaner in the intake but it got no better.

By the way, it ran fine when I last used it before the starter seized.

I don't know how difficult it is to remove the carb, but I do have a shop manual.

Would it do me any good to shoot compressed air into the carb from the fuel line or will that cause damage?

ANY advice would be greatly appreciated.
