If the pod mount receptacle receiver is plugged in the two leads it will blow my ACCY fuse also my winch will not work, if i unplug the leads to the pod mount receptacle receiver fuse will not blow and winch will work. I thought i found the problem because the positive terminal was loose. i tightened it and turned on the key to test if it was going to blow, but i forgot to put a fuse in the ACCY slot so there was no fuse in the ACCY slot and it blew the main fuse also a 20amp fuse. i installed two new fuses one in the main slot and a second in the accy slot and test again with newly tightened receptacle receiver but it blew the ACCY fuse.....

I checked the fuse block no corrosion or loose wires

No debris in the pod mount receptacle receiver

Im tracing wire have yet to find any damaged wire

So my question is am i on the right track tracing wire? i feel like i should find a damaged wire or could my problem be caused by something else

Half tempted to bag it and keep it unplugged but i have it torn apart would be nice to figure it out..

Just went through this with my 2011 Sportsman 500 and as stated above the accessory power receptacle had busted inside and was shorting out. I went to the local auto parts store and bought a generic power receptacle for under $5 and installed it, no more blown fuses!
