Adding Engine Braking?

I'm looking hard at a new 570 EPS White. Here's my question: I've had 4 wheel engine braking on previous Sportsman 500's and loved it. I know that the camo version comes with engine braking standard, but I really like the white. Is this a feature that can be swapped in? Any thoughts?

It can be added. Requires a one way bearing be added to the primary clutch, and a completely different secondary clutch. Dealer will likely want to sell you a complete new primary as well. If you buy both new and have them install figure on about $1200.
Or... You can buy the camo with the EBS and buy the white plastic and swap it. May be cheaper? Not sure, just a thought....

If you're just going by what the Polaris website says, I would double check with the dealer. Polaris's website has had specification errors on it before especially with newly posted models.

Ask your dealer to VERIFY if the white comes with engine braking or not.
Hmmm. Thanks for the thoughts. I wish there were easier (read: more cost-effective) option. And my dealer has answered other questions incorrectly, so I'm afraid I don't trust them now. I guess another idea would be to check out a white touring 570, which has the engine braking standard...
True but no EPS on them... If u want that too. Kinda screwed up how Polaris does that, like wtf?
Tied roller secondary clutches (EBS Secondary) are all over Ebay for under a 100 bucks. I just bought one not too long ago from a sportsman 800 for $65. Thats the lowest Ive seen but you can always get one for around 100. That clutch, the one way bearing, and correct belt is all you need. Should be less than 250 total pretty easy
I've owned a yamaha grizzly with engine braking I liked it how does the engine braking work on polaris I havent rode one with it I've read that a lot of polaris owners doesn't like it
