On my first weekend with my 800 sportsman I blew the clutch belt, there is nothing left but chunks of rubber and twine. Just want to know is there better belts to buy other then factory and if so which ones do you guys suggest?
thanks

Dayco belts are the answer.
2 of our 800's blew factory belts on new machines in less than 300 miles. Both machines now have over 1300 hard miles on Dayco belts with 0 probs [lots of rides in snow 30 miles to a full tank]. The dayco on my 800 has 400 on this machine and 1200 on the last 800 I had.
Polaris belts vary too much brand new in width. I bought one and it was narrower than the wore out belt it was replacing!

Thanks Juice,
I only had 770miles on mine and don't even know if that was the original. Those that say go with factory belts, have you had anything but factory on yours? If not what say you?
Thanks

Learned my lesson. Bought an aftermarket cause it was cheaper.. Squealed form the time i put it in till i took it out which was about 3 hours later. Got a factory one. No problems.
