Very possibly my next set of tires.
Pitbull has released an affordable Growler. BG2.5 XOR It is imported, so I would guess that is the reason the price is lower. Looks just like the original Growler to me. Priced like a Bighorn with performance of a Pitbull. Might be a tough tire to beat.
26-9R-12 $119
26-11R-12 $134

26-9R-14 $122

very appealing indeed. Discount Tire did a review of them on a brute..really seemed to like them. They are some mean looking treads. I think they are made in China and are 1/2 inch smaller in all sizes...pretty good value for what you get I think

Wow, great prices! If they really are the same tire, even better. Rode a can am 650 xt with them once and they shredded the dirt better than most.

I noticed the article said they were 6 ply tires. I thought the originals were 8 ply, maybe that's part of the savings too.
One more place outsourcing to China. It's a shame, I would rather pay a little more for the made in USA myself. Part of why I'm really considering the ITP Blackwater Evolution 8 ply.

Unfortunately, there is no paying a "little" more if you want Pitbulls. My Rockers weigh in at $165 each for the fronts and $185 each for the rears. Growlers cost even more. I'm as American as anybody, but if I can save $250 and buy the same tire, then we need to learn how to build them a little cheaper here in the USA.

I agree with bobx2, pitbull tires are over priced I'd love to have a set of growlers but I'm not gonna pay the price if I can save that much money by buying something that's not made n the USA it's hard to turn them down. I try my best to buy American made stuff from boots I wear to scopes I put on my rifles but pitbull is a little overpriced I'm my opinion

Not a bad price. I would have saved $100 over the original Growlers. Now mine are the 25.5-12 size. If they are anywhere as good as the original, they will be great.

Yes they are radial...6 ply vs 8 for regular UBOR series. 1/2 inch smaller in all sizes (ie 26 vs 26.5) and are made in China. They look good to me for the price

You are correct the Growler BG2.5 is a 6 ply rated radial tire. I beat on them for over 9 months and never put a plug in them.

The new Growler BG 2.5 is an incredible value for a tough tire.

Here is a link to our pricing for Pit Bull tires:

Pit Bull tires always ride smooth at speed.

We ship free to Canada however since we are a non-resident importer to Canada we collect all taxes and duties up front so when UPS deliveries to your door there are no additional fees due. We collect $25.00 per ATV/UTV tire or wheel.

Let us know when you are ready.

I am just looking on your website now, it gives me a price for the tires and then says there is a pre-paid canadian tarrif fee of $160.00, is there a 25.00 per tire fee on top of that or is that it? that works out to $40.00 per tire, is that all tax included including local tax?

Any idea when you will be getting the 27"? Are the 26" gonna be the same size as my stock Carlisle tires on 2014 sportsman xp 850?

Anyone know the weights of these tires in each size? Thanks
I imagine they are going to be a little heavy , that's always the tradeoff with the radials but you get a much stronger tire and great wear.
Nothing a little clutch kit can't fix.
