I have a 2015 Sportsman 570 and I just installed a winch. Now all I need is the plow. It appears the glacier system is a bit pricey and has a good possibility of failing or welds breaking. I have read through the forums and I am not 100% sold on that system. Is there a good aftermarket plow setup that anyone would recommend? I am new to ATVs and this is my first plow so I am a noobie. Just wondering everyone's thoughts whether the glacier is worth the money or if the aftermarket route is better. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

I have had several Glacier plows and no broken welds or problems with any of them.

I bought a cycle country plow with mounting system. I used it pretty hard last winter and it never failed me. Seems to be pretty good quality. It was 380.00 out the door with mounting hardware, push tube, and 48" blade.

48" is way to narrow. You need a 54 at the very least.

Any fabrication needed for installation? And did you use a universal plow mount or do they make one to fit the newer polaris? Also did you purchase it on a website? If so which one?

Thanks for the heads up, this is my first plow and my first atv. Is the 60 too big for a 570?
Heck no...i bought a 60", made wings and took it to 72". Anything less than 60" and all your doing is running over your own snow when its angled and you turn.

The glacier plow system has a new mount. They completely changed it due to the breaking of the release handle, bad welds. I bought it recently, It's very well done. They should be giving refunds to everyone who bought the old, flawed mount last year.

Someone here said that Polaris has fixed the problem area where welds on handl broke. I love my Glacier plow with power angle. I've even been using it where I've cleared out brush pushing across the grown to move leaves, limbs, rocks etc without a hitch.

Get the one from rvs. Motoalliance has way better customer service than crap polaris.
