Has anyone tried to fit the 2017-19 850 SP arched a-arms onto an 850 xp? Did some searching but came up blank, was wondering if it would be an easy changeover as the top arms are the same part number.

To my knowledge nothing is different. They should swap right over. The only thing I would double chk is are the shocks the same???? Other then that which I'm 99% sure the shocks are the same its a straight forward swap.

Thanks,.. I did some parts research and found the rear shocks are a little longer on my XP but would still work. Other than that, the upper arms, bolts, front shocks, the bushing part numbers are different(updated) are all the same.

Now to weigh the cost of it actually being worth it seeing as I need new bushings.

I have arch a arms on my 18 1000. And straight ones on my 15 850. Just my opinion but they are for looks only. The belly pan is still the same clearance on both bikes. I ride the same trails with both bikes and hit bottom in the same places with both bikes. Snow is the same. From any riding do, the arch arms are just a sales gimick.
Yes, they look cool but function exactly the same as straight ones.

I wouldn't waste the money changing over.. Buy better and bigger tires instead.

I'd probably have to agree with Deucer. The arched arms might give you a little extra clearance for the arm itself hitting something but taller tires will get you more overall clearance for the money. They do look pretty cool though lol. :grin

Ya,.. although looking cool,.. I think I'm just going to install the JCCapri bushings I have been looking at for the past 2 years and keep my straight lower arms.
