Hi guys! I am trying to come up with a safe way to transport a dog, 25kg, on a polaris touring. Do you have any practical ideas?

My buddy has a set up kind of like the one pictured only taller and has a cargo net that he puts over the top so the dog does not bounce out. He just puts carpet in the bottom for traction. He also has a tarp in case of rain.

My dog used to ride with me all the time until he back legs got bad. I made seat extensions to widen the back a little and what she'd do is jump up on the seat behind me, stand on the seat and extensions, and ride there. I ride with my cargo box and she'd just lean back against that. If it started to get really rough, I'd shift back and lean against her to help hold her. We've been over some really rough and steep stuff, and she's never had an issue. Breaks my heart now though because she can't ride anymore due to her legs, but will come running with that look on her face anytime I start it up.....

I see several that is similar to what Deucer showed, but I would want the dog up front just in case. I thought about making one of the same but using the anti slip rubber shelf liner for traction and tall padded sides with swim noodles to help cushion.

[Tire guage]

I'd like to find something for the front. That is where my dog likes to ride. So far I have been putting a blanket on and she can stay there. She will let me know when she wants to go. Any ideas for the front?
