I buy most of my axles on ebay an get the cheapest ones I can. That's usually the customers decision, but so far all of them have held up well. I have several machines that come in 1-2 times a year for service that have cheap replacement axles in them with thousands of miles on them. These are mostly stock machines with maybe just a little heavier tire on them. No extreme lifts or really big tires or anything like that. Just your average trail riders and plowing and property working machines. Just put an $85 one in my daughters 500 yesterday. Looks exactly like the OEM one it replaced dimensions and all. Rubber boots are thicker than the OEM on it too.
