I have a 2004 Polaris 500 HO that I am in the process of bringing back to life after 10 years in the garage. Originally it went down with a bad starter. I have replaced the starter, battery and the solenoid. I am not sure the solenoid is the correct one. So far I have power to the gauge cluster and all lights. I get no activity at all from the starter and no clicking etc from the solenoid. Any suggestions I would appreciate the help.

Check your key switch circuit. If you have dash lights and function you should have power to the key switch. It needs to go from there to the kill switch and so on.

I don’t have my wiring diagrams in front of me. You are going to need to check the circuit. Does yours start with the key switch or a separate button. You aren’t getting power from the starter circuit to the solenoid
