big gun efi tuner

Don't see why not? Same engine and the tuner will never know what machine its mounted on lol.
There could possibly be a difference in the electrical plug, but I doubt it. If it is different that's a pretty simple fix.

The reason he's got it is because they could never get it to work - having the tuner and understanding how to set it is two different things - does he have the instructions?

he had it on his bike but the put it back to stock before he sold it but he sold everything else and yes he dad the original packaging
