This is my first ATV. I have a 2018 Polaris Sportsman 450 H.O. What is the tallest tire I can run on a stock suspension. Any recommendations on tires would be helpful also. I just use it to go hunting and around our property. Thanks

28" would be as big as you could go. But for your use 26" is what I would go with. Now when you go with taller tires the width gets wider. 9" on the front is going to be typical. So you'll need a set of aftermarket rims also. This is the best option so the new tires will clear the tie-rod ends. Some tires to look at are: Maxxis Bighorn, Bighorn 2.0, + zillas; Pitbull 2.5gb; ITP Terracross; STI Black Diamond XTR; Kenda Bearclaw HTR; GBC Grimreapers.

For Hunting and Trail Riding, I would go with 26x9x12 Front and 26x11x12 Rear.

You'll want 12" wheels with 26" tires for more rubber = more sidewall protection.

If you really want 28" wheels then you'll have to get 14" wheels to get the same sidewall protection.

I might put my 26" setup from my 570 to my 450 and get 28" for the 570 considering how the stock tires on the 450 couldn't handle the mud this weekend.

I ended up putting the 26x9x12 Front and 26x11x12 Rear (ITP 212 Wheels with Kenda Bearclaw HTR Tires) on the 450 and 28x9x14 Front and 28x11x14 Rear on the 570. Both fit fine with no modifications.
