Hi ya' folks! I have a 2001 Polaris Sportsman 400.. I have my belt exhaust snorkeled just so I can go a bit deeper than Polaris stuck the stock snorkel at on the side, but when I'm in deep water, it feels as if I'm bogging down. The motor feels rough and would die the instant I let off the gas.. Not sure what it is? Runs 100% perfect out of deep water. This water was at my front rack, but not deep enough to get into my air snorkel, however, it's done the same thing in shallower water as well. Puzzled and need help please! Thanks!

Are you missing the foam that goes around the gas tank? Mine did this until I snorkeled the air intake and my foam was missing. Never sputtered after so my thinking was that it was sucking in steam from the water hitting the motor.
