So I bought my first wheeler and brought it home 2/7/14 needed a speedo so bypassed it for AWD to work and played that weekend then tore it down to build it for what I wanted. rear bearings done CVs repacked springs and a arms repainted (plum crazy purple is my favorite color) QSC clutch kit installed thanks to Ryan at RVSPerformance ready to seal up (prep for snorkels in spring)

After the exhaust mod and jet kit and clutch kit the thing moves I even pulled a lil wheelie in low my tires spin off the line (I need the 27 mega mayhems now)

Wow, that looks great..... really like the color! (What's it called?) Now looks like just your rubber and a little dress up on the radiator relocate and it's ready to perform!!

If it were mine, I'd add some expanded metal mesh to the radiator mount over the fins for added protection.

Did you snorkle it to?

Waiting for my custom cut plate then paint it and yes I will be adding the mesh. I'll let you know on the paint prepped for snorkels I just need to mount them but painting them when I paint the radiator brackets. Thanks guys

that is the paint I sanded with a DA then cleaned it and primed it then sprayed it and cleared it and his is it in real light

Nice work! Quite the project. What year is your 500? I had a '94 (or was it '95) cant remember the first year they came out. Anyway, they are fun to play around with. You really did a nice job, very clean.....:veryhappy:

Its a 2001 500HO and I need to paint the radiator also doing hurculiner on the fenders when it gets warmer doing snorkels at the same time

did you buy the primary puller to do your kit?

Nope just need to pull the cover plate on the primary replace the spring and weights I replaced the bolts the weights ride on because mine had groves in them any other questions just ask

Cool man, I picked up a bunch of goodies this week, just waiting for all the parts to come in: new slip on muffler, 28" mega mayhems, a tire machine (I couldn't justify paying 60-80 bucks to mount tires), a QSC clutch kit, high lifter HD springs, and a synthetic winch rope kit. I'm hoping to get everything by Friday so I can spend the weekend in the garage. I'll have to keep in touch with you so we can find some mud somewhere!
