I need some assistance. I just bought a 94 polaris 400 4x4 with 4 wheel drive. After cleaning it up and replacing the very old battery, I let it sit for about a week. Went out to start it today and it would not turn off. The person who owned it before me changed it from adding oil in the reservoir to mixing the gas and oil then adding 2 gas tank. It has been leaking a small amount of oil. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nice looking dinosaur - when they won't turn off (engine won't die) it's because the ignition failed to connect to ground when the key switch or the handlebar switch was put in the stop position - either a faulty ground, or the black ignition kill wire is disconnected from the CDI unit.

Thanks, going to try fixing the ground in morning.
