I don't know a lot about carbs, but I have one that's leaking from the overflow tube. If I blow through the fuel intake, I can blow right through it, I turn the carb upside down (which "floats" the floats) and I can't blow through it.
I have even adjusted the floats so they close with less effort. But when I hook fuel up it will continue to fill until it runs out of the overflow tube.

My question is, will a simple rebuild kit fix the problem?
I just wanted to get someone else's input before I order the kit.

It's on an 06 Kodiak 450 This makes me enjoy my EFI on my sportsman even more! Lol

Sounds like your needle and seat are shot. Replace. Idk if the rebuild kit includes it or not, it should. If it doesn't get one they are cheap.

At first it was leaking from the float bowl O ring, I replaced that, then it started coming out if the overflow tube. I'm guessing replacing the O ring allowed the fuel level to rise enough to get into the overflow lol

So maybe the rubber seals are all going bad? Would ethanol blended fuel be the cause of that?

I will be sure to get a needle and seat. Thanks!
