I'm told by the polaris dealer that these carbs are horrible, overly complicated to meet emissions, and need to be tuned to each elevation your in, they're also slow, so I am thinking of swapping out to a more traditional style carb. Maybe a Mikuni VM34? I believe this is a 34mm mikuni carb, worst thing I've ever worked with, even the position of the air mixture screw boggles the mind.

Anyway, has anyone ever swapped their carb out, should I or shouldn't I swap mine, if not why not!
