if i remember correctly, you remove the bolts holding the pull rope cover, then there is like 2 bolts holding the starter in there to remove (here you will seethe starter bendix as well), and remove the bolts holding the rear of the starter (support bracket). Also remove the battery cable from the starter. As with any time you are messing with electronics be sure to remove the ground cable from your battery before doing anything.

how do i change my starter on a 250 trailblazer
Good question.....I just had mine replaced a few months ago and it has already messed up again.........I am not going to pay to have it replaced again. Anybody know why these starters have problems???

I should add that I am not talking about my Sportsman, but my Trailblazer.....:)

well they shouldn't have to much problems if they are sealed good to where water/oil cant get into them.
