What new belt did you put on?

So for trouble shooting purposes, I put the old belt on and same results. This time while in high gear the primary started high pitch winding sound while the secondary didn’t spin at all ( don’t think it was the belt). Order a clutch assembly from partzilla? Funny thing is it’s about $100 cheaper then the stealership

I hope the dealer put the new one-way on the shaft in the right direction????

Most new primary clutches come without the spring, weights, and rpm limiter. You will need to transfer these from current clutch to new one if you go that route.

I don't want to, but i'm at a standstill. I'd hate to spend $600 on a clutch if not needed, but then again they did tell me to and give me that option. I am just cautious when any dealer tells me i need something because i think there always out to get me lol. I was just hoping it would be fine, I wish i was able to see the shaft

With the engine off, belt on both clutches, look down between the shives of the primary clutch and see if you have equal free space between the belt and the shives on both sides of the belt.

It needs to look like this in park or neutral.

Apply the break stop the wheels from turning, tell me if the belt squeals?

There looks to be more space on the left side than on the right side between the belt and the clutch, is that correct?

Adjustment for that is done with the secondary by removing or adding a washer behind the secondary on the shaft.
