Colorado- Become a Stay The Trail Ambassador

1265 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  StayTheTrail_Ambassadors
Over the years, Stay The Trail has united the Colorado OHV community behind the ethics of responsible trail use. Now, those dedicated enthusiasts will have the opportunity to participate in sharing that ethic with other trail users and a calendar of trail events they can assist with through Stewardship Events planned by the Stay The Trail Ambassadors.

This new volunteer arm of the Stay The Trail program will assist in trail improvements, but also train volunteers to carry the Stay The Trail message of responsible trail use across the state.

Peer-to-peer education is incredibly effective at encouraging other trail users to ride in a way that will ensure trails are open for our use in the future and the natural resources are there for us to enjoy at the same time.

In the past year, this program has leveraged over $65k worth of volunteer support for OHV trails in Colorado. We would really like YOU to help us grow by getting involved in 2013.

You can find info about our online training sessions and upcoming trail projects on our Calendar page or email us at [email protected]

Looks great!
Thanks for sharing this information and the work to help keep our trails open. Great program.
We want to encourage everyone to join us and become an Ambassador! We are working on setting up projects for the season. Do you have any favorite trails that could use some extra maintenance?
