Lucky you!...I will be moving to the Denver in Mid August with a job change...From Kansas City to Denver! No more 12+ hour crossing windy-as-hell Kansas.
There is that old joke about the Wind doesn't blow in Kansas it just sucks from Oklahoma or the other way around - depending on your location ;).
Can you let us all in on where you are planning to ride? Can't wait to see the trip pics and hear all about your adventure!

Those all are very nice spots to ride...When the we got our bikes in 2019, we went out to Taylor park for a week and it's all we talk about now that we are moving. Almost made it to Aspen but the ski hill was putting in new toilets and had the trails closed at the maintenance shed at the top of the ski hill. Hopefully, when we move, we will be able to put some miles on the bikes before it gets too cold to ride. When we stayed at Taylor park, woke up the second day to a cow digging in the fire pits outside our cabin - even funnier when you have not had coffee yet.

Yes, I normally only use it in the winter to keep the road salt off ATV when taking it ice fishing. But on a journey this long it actually pulls easier, I get better fuel mileage with it covered than not covered. It's made by a custom tarp shop that makes semi trailer tarps, very heavy material, guessing the cover alone weighs over 30#'s, not like the cheap Polaris or Amazon covers that won't last 60 miles without shreading. It fits either my 2006 or the 2019. It's got well over 10K highway speed miles on it and its now 8 years old. It was expensive but you get what you pay for!

I also don't worry if I stop that some dickwad may attempt a grab and run as I leave the GPS and other electronics mounted. Only thing I remove is the 2 mirrors, less than a minute each.

That’s really smart. If you think about it it’s not really that secure but to the junkie looking for his next Craigslist sale it’s pretty deterring.

Not sure if it was FDP218, but I learned 2 IS 1 and 1 is NONE. I have since added that to my packing list when I got off road.
