tell me about the tires on your sportsman!!
Okay the integral sniper 920s are an awesome tire. I thought that my bear claws were really good but these are in their own League I got some highway blacktop miles on them today to get the Mount Rushmore at 55 miles an hour and absolutely no shimmy. Yesterday riding the trails the bear claws seem to push the front end at times the snipers when you turn the ATV turns. Probably the best investment I've made and I would recommend them highly. I have not been in any deep mud with them yet.

I'd suspect he's probably on the trail this morning. I'm sure he'll answer you in a little while.
Yes, that is the correct answer I came out to ride!!

On tonight's dinner menu...

Venison burritos with taco seasoning.

This was all made possible due to having the freezer so that things could be made ahead of time Frozen and then brought out on the day of eating. That freezer is the best thing I've seen as an upgrade since sliced bread. Ice last year was $8.50 a bag in Taylor Park and like everything else it went up to $9 this year in SD.

My Rtic cooler we are rotating the gallon bottles of ice every other day on Jon's igloo cooler every day.

@polman500 this is for you, so far this is what about 95% of what the SD trails look like so far. Drawback it is DUSTY! Normal dust gap is more than 1/2 mile!!

What GPS are you using?
I have a Garmin GPS map 276 cx, but all that data I posted comes from an awesome app called GAIA. It cost $24.99 for a yearly subscription but it is an awesome GPS navigation map tool. You're run it on your phone.

I lose signal most of the time where I ride so many m not sure that would work for me. I can’t use Polaris Ride Command on my phone because of that same issue.

GAIA does not require a cell signal to function. The program is downloaded to your phone and interacts with the built in GPS on your device.
This also applies to backcounty navigator and Orux Maps.

I don't use GAIA but I do use Orux and BCN. I have the programs loaded on old cell phones that have no service plan at all. They work great. I typically only use them down at HMT so we can hit the outlaw trails and find different things. If you just stick to the actual HMT trails, paper maps are all you need but if you want to venture out, I'd suggest having some kind of GPS device. It's made our trips much more enjoyable.

Yeah, I've used GAIA in Colorado. You just download the maps for the area you want beforehand and no cell service is needed. Got a friend that introduced me to OnX last year and I was pretty impressed with it too.

Ok..... How good do you think this frozen drumstick ice cream cone was when we got back to tent base camp after a 94.3 mile day and 90 degree temperature today.

Just in case anyone is still wondering how the chest freezer is working out!!

Admittedly I am a complete moron when it comes to GPS's and what or how to download things to mine. I use a Garmin 64ST because I'm mostly on my dirt bike riding the trails why my daughter and anyone else with us are on the Sportsman's. I only have limited room for my GPS.

I'm probably doing everything wrong!
