Purchasing new tires for my 1999 Sportsman 500. The tires on there now are 25X8X12 Front and 25X12x10 rear. It is almost impossible to find the 25x12x10. Will a 25x12.5x10 work for the rear or will it rub anywhere. Im running stock wheels??

Thanks in advance

Yeah, that's how the older sportsman were made. Seems crazy to me but I guess it worked out.

Yes, should fit without a problem unless you get a brand that runs particularly large.

Find a used pair of 12" rear rims from any newer year 400, 500, 600, 700, or 800 and just get 12" tires to fit. Just did it on my daughters 2000 500. Got a whole set of rims for $50 off a newer machine and made tire shopping much easier.
