Just curious if putting a QSC clutch kit on a new machine will void warranty. I'm new to owning an atv but have seen many good reviews about the aftermarket clutch, but dont want to put anything on that will void the warranty right now.

I bought my first atv(2016 sportsman 570 orange) almost 2 months ago. I've been riding since I can remember though.

I'd wait 3-4 more months... then order the QSC kit from Ryan @ RSV Performance.... and install it when it arrives.

Unless you have a good relationship with your dealer, and they wouldn't mention that modification when/if doing warranty work!!

I do not have a good relationship with the dealer I bought it from, like I said its the first atv I have bought. And I bought it 2 states away to get a muchhhhhh better deal (abernathys in union city, TN) but are you saying that if they do say something it will void the warranty? I got a free 2 year warranty with the machine so id like to keep it the full 2 years lol

It will void warranty on drive train components. But that should be all. axles, belts, differentials, etc. would have the warranty voided. Electrical, frame, etc. would not have the warranty voided.

I would wait until the warranty runs out just to be on the safe side.

Its bullshit, clutches are made to be tunable just like a carb.
If an axle goes, is the dealer really going to pull your clutches and look for a kit?
Find another dealer if they wanna play that game.

I try to not mess with stuff till warranties are done. but for ATV's with the amount of warranty things that are denied. I'd probably strongly consider putting one in. Especially if you've got aftermarket tires already.
