The current Polaris ATV promotion isup to 1000 in rebates and as low a 2.99% financing. How good is this promotion? What were some of their previous promotions? What would you consider to be their best promotion?

I got that same deal this past spring.

Buying a machine now would land your warranty up BEFORE the major riding season. They will probably have the rebates again in spring.

After buying the 400 (similar to the 500 in power). I would go for the 800 for sure if the price is within +/- $500.

If you want big tires, the 800 won't even feel them!

When in doubt, go big. Otherwise, you will be second guessing yourself.

I got $1000 off the sticker price, 15% off the accessories I bought on signing (winch, plow, plowmount), free installation and a 3 year warranty. Out the door was $7300. Not bad for something that will be getting year round use! Interest rate is a little high, but I'll refinance in June with my own bank and get my 4.15% (currently at 7.6%).

If looking at a 2012 800EFI and the 2013 500HO (Carb'ed).... for close to the same, I'd go 800 all over again!! NO lack of power for sure!!! For me the price was about a $900-1000 difference bewteen both being 2012 models. If I recall I got either a $500 or $750 rebate and qualified for the lowest % rate for my term. too got 15% off all the accessories purchased and free installation.

Not sure about the current promo, but it sounds the exact same as the "Year End Close Out" that I took advantage of. Generally the more you spend the better the rebate gets.... Example: buy a $11,000+ RZR and get $1000, but buy a $5299 500 Sportsman and save $500. I too got 15% off all the accessories purchased and free installation. The interest rate is directly associated to your credit rating, ect. Great Credit = 2.99 - 5.99% depending on term length..... not so good it goes up.... bad, get ready to bend over!!

Shop around your area within a reasonable drive (to you). I went about 40 miles (one way) out of my way and saved myself $800 from what the local guys "best deal" was.
