I'm sorry it isn't a "X2" model, but below are some pictures of how I mounted my saw mount (Sterns/ MadDog Chainsaw Mount) to the rear bumper. I altered the mount with a couple extra holes and used "U" bolts to secure it to the tube area of the bumper.

Question.... do the X2 models have the Lock & Ride holes on the rails of the bed like a Ranger? If so you could secure the mount with those and hang it to the side?? :dunno:

Maybe these will get your "creative juices" flowing....

Here are a couple awesome results from a Google search of "Polaris X2 Chainsaw Mount"....

I had mine mounted on the rear rack extention then when I took that off I mounted it to the rear grab bark on my hawkeye. If you want, I can take some detailed pictures of the holder. not going to help much on the mounting side for a x2 but better than nothing. I've got the same one as Mustbenice.

Very nice setup mustbenice. Certainly has me thinking now!
Really appreciate the helpful pics too.
Is the lock and ride those rails that are in the dump box?

Thanks very much for this!

The lock and ride would be holes along the top of the bed rails that are about an inch wide and 4-6" deep or without a bottom like the front and rear racks on the regular sportsman.
