Cylinder resleeve?

Greetings,
I have a 1989 Polaris Trail Boss 250 2 stroke. I was wondering if the cylinder sleeve is cast into the aluminum? I would like to resleeve it, and saw a few things online to try and remove it. Just want to make sure if it is even removable before I would even try anything. Thanks in advance for any information that you can offer.

The original sleeve is cast iron and the aluminum was cast around it - it has to be bored out for a sleeve to be pressed in. Send the cylinder and a new piston to LA Sleeve - they will bore out the old liner, press in the new sleeve, resurface the top of the cylinder, match the ports, bore the cylinder to fit the piston and return it ready to install.
