Finally got out to prep some of the feeders at my lease today. Filled my dads, mine, and another hunters. The other guys are coming out in a few weeks and said they would take care of theirs. Don’t think I wanted more than 1800lbs in the bed and cab of my half ton anyway though.

Haven’t had any real rain out hear in probably 60 days or more with more days over 100 than not.

Didn’t stop the deer from coming out this afternoon either way. Feeders have been empty since about January, filled the 3 of them and had deer at mine before I was 20’ away. Nice full moon out though, so no need for the night vision until some bacon wanders out.

We went to Texas again this year, through the same outfitter... long story, but needless to say, this was the "buck" I shot this year... he was with a group of does, and I was filling my doe tag to get it out of the way. Didn't see another buck I wanted to shoot worth the extra $$$ outfitter charges over the standard one doe one buck package. If you zoom in you can see his nubs

Better than one of the guys on my hunting pages. Was supposed to be a 140 score buck for him and another hunter. The guide told them which two to shoot, and neither of them even scored 100. Needless to say they weren’t happy at all.
