Did the 3 light mod today all I have to say it's a must.. Much better riding at night/evening hours...

Agreed, I just tried it out on a night ride, what a huge difference!

Curious, did you do the diode or relay?


Rather be riding, instead I'm using Tapatalk

Great! Yes it uses the battery for power instead of the switch so there's no chance of frying the switch from too much load.


Rather be riding, instead I'm using Tapatalk

It's very easy I did nont solder my connections.. I used crimp splice clamps for my connections..

2014 Sportsman 570 Headlight Mod

mountainmodsplus / This is a great place to purchase this item. I ordered 2 and it took about 5 min. per unit to install. It comes with the wiring and connectors. No need to cut any wires, as it uses the blue inline crimp connector. Got this on ebay. Think they were $9 each with free shipping. Hope this helps someone.

With the inline connectors like the clamp ons..make sure you use dielectric grease or liquid tape on them...in time they corrode or oxidize the wire ..been there before ..lol...

Has anyone done the 3 light mod with led light bar included with the mod or would it be too much for the scheme
