1997 Sprtsmn 500, 11,750 miles. I bought one used Carlisle AT489 tire for the back. This Carlisle tire is 25x11x10. The other back tire is a Goodyear Tracker size 25x11x10, so both tires are the same size...But the Carlisle is 2.5 inches taller than the Goodyear tire. The reason for this is because the Carlisle has good tread where the Goodyear is worn. Again both are on the back. Will this difference in size of 2.5 inches taller cause any problems.

YES! you're rear diff will be under a lot of stress. one tire is constantly going to either by trying to play catch up, or forced to slow down.

It could cause you to crash. If not you, it's bad for sportsman in many ways. I wouldn't even test it. Good luck
