Im not sure about the predator but the sportsmen 90 has a governor on the throttle control there is a set nut and bolt which controls the amount of thottle they can push.

i can only offer a vague answer but hopefully something to help you start search with. your predator 90 is a 2-stroke, right?

i am also right now not 100% but i know the sportsman and outlaw 90 4-strokes are electronically governed. you cut one of the wires that the governor disappears. thats all that i can recall. ill see if i can remember or find any more info. hope that helps get you started in searching though

There is a jumper that needs to be removed. I think it is some place under the front where all the wires are. I had to remove it for my sons 90. Maybe this will click to someone else and they will remember exactly where it was. Hope this is helpful.

i have a 2011 sportsman and looking for governor was told they may have up to 4
throttle screw
clutch
electronic
carb
trying to figure out if mine has that many seems slugish from start probally runs 20mph top speed
