I'm in need of a tranny for my 1999 Magnum 500. There's a couple on eBay but way more of the 325's, that look identical in the years 2000-2002. Anyone know if they interchange?

Polaris Parts interchange shows that transmission for the '99 and '00 500 machines but that only indicates the part numbers are different. Driven clutch is different too. fits a number of 500 cc machines but nothing smaller.

I have a couple 2001 Magnum 325s in the garage if you want some measurements.

Thanks for the reply. I just bought a 2wd 325 tranny on eBay, after doing a lot of info searching, and specification comparisons. Last night I swapped my 4x4 shaft, sprockets, chain and cover into the lower case, and buttoned it up. Fit like a charm. I'm waiting on some clutch parts, then I'll try 'er out. The driven clutch from the 500 fit on the tranny shaft too. Soo far, soooo good.
