Any NC riders lurking around? Desperately looking new places to ride and people to ride with. I would love to start a ATV riding club if possible. We can benefit from each other. I've been out of Atvs over 10 years now. Back when I rode biggest thing they made was my Sportsman 500 and a side by side was a golf cart. We have thousands of acres and miles and miles of pulp wood land down east. Why can't we organize and lease rights just like the hunting clubs do.

Because the hunting clubs already have the land lol. Warehauser has eastern Nc wrapped up. They like leasing to hunting clubs because they typically keep the land clean...

ATV riders don't exactly have the best reputation for not tearing up land.

But I'm all for the idea...I'm located about an hour & a half from you.

I'm sure we atvers could keep the land clean. The roads could still be maintained. The roads would just be for to and from woods trails. We would police our own members and provide our own insurance. That's the main thing liability issues. Just look at kind of money somewhere like hatfield McCoy brings in.

I know that, and you know that but land owners don't.

Same scenario as.....

I run a diesel shop for a living. I do repairs, maintenance and a ton of performance builds. I have guys all the time that come in and ask for a setup that is very very smokey, just because they want the smoke. That is the very reason the epa has fined performance enhancement manufacturers millions.

My point being, as long as there are the mudders looking for land...it won't happen.

Of course this is just my opinion.

Old areas in NC

Any body remember Big Dawgs in Washington or way before that Buckleberry at Princeton. I also always herd the story of being able to ride from the Red Oak area all the way to Lake Gaston/Kerr lake area in VA. Like usual everybody new someone that had done it BUT had ever did it themselves. All this land down east we need an Atv trail system.
