ATV starts and runs ok but as soon as you give it some gas it dies. Does not matter if it is in neutral or another position. Right now I have it running. I added some Heat additive/takes water out - to the gas and filled it with new gas. My hope is that if there is ice in the carberator bowl that by running it for a long time (a couple hours) the ice (if that is the problem) will be gone. Right now it has run for about two hours and still it dies as soon as you give it gas. Choke is all the way in, if you pull it out it dies. Note: ATV is stored outside with a cover. I also thought it might be the gas filter but have not been able to find where it is located. It is 0 degrees F outside now and I would prefer to reduce work time to the minimum.

Any chance you can get that thing inside and get a bullet heater on it? Give it a chance to thaw, then if that doesnt work, I would agree with Blueline and say that you need to do some carb cleaning.
