I have a looney tune exhaust on my 2012 sportsman 850xp and it seems that when I go under water to the exhaust it dies, when I have the factory exhaust it runs fine under water.. Just seeing if it’s the exhaust packing or maybe just not enough back pressure..

Not sure to be honest. Is there a spark arrester in it? If there was and you took it out, maybe try putting it back in.

Spark arrestor may be clogged.

Yeah I’m at a loss lol, still has spark arrestor and don’t seem to be clogged, recon I’ll have to get a new one and see if anything changes.. Idles at 800 or so, not sure if that’s possibly why it’s also dying.. I just know with the stock exhaust I had no issues lol..

That would do it. Idle should be between 1150 and 2000 rpm.
