I have 2000 explorer 400. The fan motor still works becuase i hooked the wires up to the battery and the fan came on. I also installed a new thermal switch and the fan will still not come on by itself????? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks -Brian-

Did you get the schematics off of Polaris website. I finally got my oil cooling fan figured out. Really never realized how hot it had to get to work until I got the schematics. I looked forever for the schematics and Polaris had them listed under the owners manual?????? The oil cooling fan does not come on until 260 degrees on my 325 Magnum 4 x 4, I was never testing this hot. I see yours is liquid cooled and your schematics are there.
Good Luck

If the antifreeze has an air bubble in it the fan will not work properly.
