I have a friend's 90 that I've been working on because it has no spark. It had a lot of things wrong, this is just the last thing. The stator had to be replaced along with the pulse/trigger coil & still no spark despite the new stator being in spec :((

Along the way i noticed the outside timing mark on the flywheel was not magnetic, not even a little. I had a damaged flywheel from a completely different atv that had the inside magnets come unglued to test it's outside timing mark & it also wasn't magnetic. On the internet whenever i searched, people called it a magnet, it wasn't too expensive so i bought a new 1 & it was also not magnetic.

I know that the magnets can get weak over time but shouldn't it be at least somewhat magnetic to induce voltage in the pulse/trigger coil or is my thinking wrong? This is driving me crazy, any help would be greatly appreciated.:shot:
