Me and my buddy got an 02 scrambler 400 2 stroke and he got up this mornin and was gonna go ride and basically all the fuel leaked out and when he took the line off to check for cracks it had foam all in the fuel line. Can anybody help me out here

A better description would be helpful.

Was the foam in the fuel or the plastic of the line (I presume the fuel line was transparent)?

Is the fuel pre-mixed or is the oil injection being used?

First, I will presume the fuel was not turned off at the petcock? That would be the reason all the fuel leaked out.

The foam? That might have had to do with the type of fuel, fuel additives (including oil) or contaminants in the fuel.

Anybody else care to guess?

i can’t recall ever seeing foam in any dirt bike or snowmobile fuel i had over the years.
Like u say Latebird must be from a bad additive.
