Just letting everyone know I have a FSM for the Hawkeye. It is for the '07 model, but alot of the pictures show a '06 so I'm sure it will cover about everthing for the 300 Hawkeye/Sportsman.
If anyone has a maintaince/service question post it up and I will get the info back to you here out of the manual.

I bought a Polaris manual, but it does not show full routing of vacuum hoses for the carb. Purhaps it is not FSM. I would appriciate any photo's one might have[or verbal description] of proper routing.
I tryed to find the online manuals and had no luck, that address didn't work for me? Is there something missing? I even tryed using www infront and no luck.
Hi there can you tell me how to remove the carb from a 2006 Hawkeye 300? - I have all the hoses and choke cable off, how do I remove the throttle cable from the carb?
Thanks
Louis
My 2006 Hawkeye has a loose LR axle at the transmission. I removed the boot to see what part was broken thinking I'd find a CV joint. What I got instead was a handful of ball bearings and the remnants of the bearing housing.
When I look at the Parts Catalog I don't find any type of u-joint. I guess I could look at the other side but I hate to mess with what isn't broken. Anyone have a description of what parts are included in attaching the rear axle to the transmission?
thank you ever so much, I am having a the life of me trying to see where al these hoses go
thanks again
ron
