I have a 2007 Hawkeye 300. I can not find a timing chain for the engine as they are discontinued. Would anyone have one I can buy off them?

Nateganse: Did you ever find a compatible timing chain? I am in the same position and have searched everywhere for something new that will fit with no luck. Thanks for any information you might have.

Thank you FPD218! It turns out Polaris discontinued the timing/cam chains for the Hawkeye and Sportsman 300's. I'm trying to locate a new replacement and struggling.

You should probably call though as Partzilla lists it "unavailable"

If I'm not mistaken, that is a Chinese engine. latebird may be able to match up a chain from another manufacturer. He's pretty good at that sorta thing. You should shout out to him.

I haven’t had much time to look what other companies use that chain. I’m not very computer handy for looking for that sort of stuff

RMATV does not have it - they will order it from Polaris only to find out it's not available and then inform you it's NLA

Got a few pics of the chain? Close ups of the side plates with markings or numbers? It's made in Asia and with the specifics it might match to a chain in another Chines, Korean or Taiwanese engine. If not, part it out and next time buy something American or Japanese made.
