Greetings everyone! This is Thor. I have been a very long time member that has been MIA for quite a few years now. After moving from the Midwest to Prescott AZ I found my calling. With thousands of miles of trails, my love for the outdoors grew more and more. Being in the offroad business made it even more fun. To make it even more exciting I joined the ATV/UTV Search and Rescue group here in Yavapai county.
Search and Rescue body recovery
After some time my needs changed and I sold my quads and went over to RZR's. They held more equipment and were protected more from the elements. A few weeks back my youngest son Sloan was talking with me about the past. About how we would go on quads. How my middle son (Espen, his older brother who is now 17 and into jeeps and overlanding) would drive his quad and he would sit on the back of me dreaming of the day he would be the one behind me on his quad. Sloan who is now 13 asked me if we could start riding quads again. He said Dad it's fun to go on the RZR but it would be much more fun if I could drive my own quad vs sitting and just looking out of the RZR.
I took a step back and thought to myself. Wow this is amazing. My youngest wants to go out and share my passion. He too wants to dive and explore. So I put my custom Arizona build RZR PRO XP4 on the market. After it was sold to a very happy new family I started my search for a Sportsman 850.
Sloan congratulating the new owner on the RZR
I was lucky to find a used 2021 out of Las Vegas with 61 miles on it. So Sloan and I took a day trip to NV to pick up the new toy. We pulled out Espens old TRX250EX that has been collecting dust for the past 4 years and got that too fired up and ready for fun.
Me with the new 2021 850
Now our new adventures are about to begin. Showing Sloan all these exciting trails that Prescott and Northern AZ have to offer. Next it's time to find my wife Nicole a new quad. Hope to share some of our stories here on the site and hope to see some of you all on the trails!
