Have you checked any of your ground wires attached to the frame? I know on 12 volt systems a corroded ground wire can cause some pretty strange issues. It would be something easy to check.

I hope this is in the right spot. I have a 2002 trail boss 325. Just recently the electric start and the indicator lights for reverse and neutral stopped working. I opened her up to check the wiring. Doesn't mean I didn't miss something but I saw nothing unplugged or severed.....has anyone else ever had this problem? They did at one point start working for a short time, but quickly stopped again..... Is my ecm bad? What dont I see? I'm losing my mind. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Haven't yet....that was my next step. Got tired of looking at wires. Lol! Gonna do that tomorrow. Thanks for the input!
When my 04 trail boss electric starter switch stopped working it was the ignition key switch that went bad.
Thanks for the help guys! I found the problem and you won't believe how simple.....one of the wires in the haness at my handlebar switch for my headlights and reverse override is bad (inside the harness itself). Not making its connection. Bought a complete (wiring for the entire machine) used set in ebay for $20. It'll be here in a couple of days. I'll let ya know the outcome. Thanks again!!
