I need to replace my factory X2 550 tires. 26 8 14 and 26 10 14. Absolutely none of the big name 6-ply tires like Kenda Bearclaws come in X2 size. Only a couple like Duro powergrip in 4 ply, and the whimpy factory replacement tires come in stock size.
What is everyone else doing about this size problem, please?
Thanks for the help.

just go to 9" up front and 10"-12" in the back.

not a ton of info on the x2s but if there was rub it would be in the rear on the passenger foot supports. So if that's the case you'll just have to cut a section of them out or bend them back out of the way.

Are you running the factory rims? I'm using 26x9(4+3) and 26x11(4+5) on aftermarket wheels without a problem, I have a '16 X2.

those are offset specs for aftermarket rims. you could always load up some rack weight and take a look at what might interfere with bigger tires, just a thought.

Many with 850 Sportsman’s(550’s twin) run 26x9x14 HTR Bearclaws(8 ply) with no rubbing issues. Not sure about the Maxxis Bighorn 2.00’s, I’m sure they’d be fine also. These CST tires(6ply) in pic run a little narrow. But ^^^ tires listed above are probably a better choice imo.
