Hello everyone! I've read these forums as an unregistered lurker for quite a while, but now I'm becoming legitimate!

Of course, I had to become legitimate to take full advantage of the forum.

With that said, does anyone have a service manual for a 2006 Polaris Sportsman 500 EFI? My kid was plowing yesterday when it up and quit. So, I'm headed down the rabbit hole to see if I can get this thing diagnosed and fixed as soon as possible since it doesn't seem like it ever quits snowing here this year in Western Wisconsin.

It appears to me the head cover is leaking and oil is running down onto the head pipe adapter - the bell portion is a flexible metal on metal connection as the engine is rubber mounted a little smoke from the joint is acceptable.

I appreciate your assistance. I wish it was just a little smoke...it is as much as a cigar puts out and it smells of burning oil.
