We have a 02 sportsman's 500 ho. Worsted buy! She begged zero balls. So we have now replaced the cam. But now the carb is filling the air box with fuel... so my question is... how do you know when theres nothing you can do to fix the carb. Someone is telling me if the diaphragm is missed shaped on one side it means theres hair line fractures.
Nope,nope...carbs dont go bad. Nope, diaphrams never tear, floats never saturate and flood engines, needles and seats never wear out, bowl gaskets dont rot and vac operated petcocks last hundreds of years just like todays good gas.
Maybe upload some pics of problem some good shots of the carby are you sure the valve timing is correct and the valve clearances are set right.
