I am looking for a L hubstrut for my 2000 sportsman 500. Not having any luck identifying a part number to compare fitment between years and models...no luck at the polaris site. Can anybody help me out?
I thought that number was for the repair kit...I didn't want to assume that all units that use the same repair kit were actually the same hubstrut. if I scroll down to part 27 which is the hubstrut... no number is listed and "usage" is confusing because it doesn't seem to list my 500.
thanks for you help
I'm not sure what you're looking at but #27 is the nut that goes on the top of the strut. #16 part number 2201311 is the LH hubstrut and the list I gave you before is the machines it fits.
Here is a link to the Polaris parts catalog and the diagram. It is not very clear from the pic but that is the number. There's a bunch of them on ebay.
Man, you're making this wayyy harder than it needs to be. I gave you the part number and usage list when you first posted. Forget about the "a-arm/strut mounting section". That's not where you need to look. I found what you where talking about #27 in that section and it refers to the strut page #16. Scroll down the parts list to "front strut"....again forget about the mounting section. Go to the strut section.
Part number is 2201311.
Here is a link to a brand new one on ebay but there are lots of good used ones for much less money.
